Mahour Alvand attends ‘Dressage’ public screening

Mahour Alvand has attended the public screening of Pouya Badkoube’s award-winning film ‘Dressage’.

Mahour Alvand has attended the public screening of Pouya Badkoube’s award-winning film ‘Dressage’.

The young talented actress attended the public screening of the film along with some other young rising stars such as Amir-Hossein Fathi.

Alvand was born to a cineaste father Sirous Alvand who has been at the helm of several successful flicks, some of which have been aired by ifilm such as ‘Tainted Hands’.

It has been four years that Mahour has been active as a star, her debut movie being ‘Daughter’ directed by Reza Mirkarimi. She has won a Cristal Simorgh of Best Actress for her brilliance in the movie ‘Hattrick’ by Ramin Lavafi.  

‘Dressage’ tells the story of Golsa and her friends who, motivated primarily by boredom rather than greed, decide to rob a corner shop.

While evaluating the robbery, they are dismayed to realize that they forgot to bring along the CCTV footage; so one of them must return to the crime scene and the vote falls on Golsa.

Ali Mosaffa, Shabnam Moqaddami, Houshang Tavakkoli, Alireza Sanifar, Alireza Aqakhani, and Siamak Adib are among the cast members.rime scene and the vote falls on Golsa.

The Iranian feature has so far attended several international festivals and has won several awards. The awards list includes Best Debut Film Award at the 36th Fajr International Film Festival and jury award at the 68th Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale) in Germany.
